Strala started organically – with a small idea and big ambition. It started in the apartment, then went to youtube, then the NYC studio opened its doors, then Seattle... #StralaEverywhere!!!

It's been exciting, and it's also been full of good lessons. I launched a business from my passion and encourage others with entrepreneurial spirits and great ideas to do the same. If you want to start something, do it! You can because you're amazing!

It's important for us entrepreneurs to share with each other, so here are 5 tips just for you...

1. Follow your interests and give yourself room for flexibility.

What you are passionate about is what you will want to be spending time on. That passion may shift and change and if you are stuck in old passions, you may be stuck heading in a less expansive direction than your potential. Don't fear flowing interests.

2. Consider the feeling.

The feeling of your product or service is your magic. Consider how you want people to feel when they experience what you are building and design concepts and products from there.

3. Intention.

Intentions spark your actions and direction. Consider your intentions as you build to stay in the realm of what you are creating.

4. Are you having fun?

Check out your day and see if you are having fun. If you are, you are in a good, productive, inspired place.

5. Get in nature.

Go for a walk. Sit by a tree. Take a few deep breaths. Nature will connect you back to your purpose. It's up to you to pay attention and follow with what you have to offer.
